I have been using the angled aluminum veterinary ultrasound table for the past few months with my mobile cardiology service. The table genuinely seems to impress every clinic that I have been to, and I have had so many staff members comment on how professional it looks! The table has been perfect for my needs - the size fits on all standard exam tables and surgical tables.
Depending on the height of the person that is holding the patient, sometimes a step stool
is needed so that they can be high enough, as the combination of the exam counter + ultrasound table can be a bit high, but again, this is readily remedied with a step stool
(and I can’t see a way around this!).
The cut-outs are perfect size to allow adequate range of motion for positing the probe to obtain excellent acoustic windows for imaging. The padded surface seems to help the patients to feel comfortable while in lateral recumbency, and there is sufficient table support around the cut-outs so that the patients seem to feel secure. The table is lightweight, which is excellent for mobile service, and it is super easy to set up and take down.
Not to mention, the craftsmanship is of the highest quality! I would highly recommend this table to anyone looking for an ultrasound table.
David is also so wonderful to work with! There was an issue with delivery that was completely out of his control (COVID19 issues!), yet David went above and beyond to ensure this was corrected so that I could get my business up and running.

I recently ordered the SDA echocardiography table from David Mayne at Mayne woodworking. Our “homemade” examination table was getting quite worn and was never really as convenient for us or as comfortable for the patients as we would have liked.
I was unable to find a suitable replacement in Australia and found the Mayne woodworking website on line.
The service that we have received from David has been exceptional . He was able to easily accommodate some specific needs we had for the table and was very communicative throughout the ordering and shipping process (which was smooth, fast and trouble free).
The table itself is very well made and offers very good flexibility for echocardiographic examination of a wide variety of patients. The patients are very comfortable on the table which is good for all involved. Although not a factor for us, the table also folds up very neatly for ease of transport between clinics if necessary.
We have been very pleased with the whole process as well as the table itself and look forward to using it for many years to come.

The first time I saw this exam table, I thought it was fabulous. Its appearance including the navy blue mattress, the yellow oak frame, the gold connection, looks so beautiful. The top is padded with 1" foam -- twice the padding of other tables.
It greatly improves the compliance of the patient during exam because it provides safe, ease, comfortable environment to the patient. I’m also impressive the fineness of the handmade technique. When I perform ultrasound exam, even if the patient which is over than 30 kg weight moves, it also stands steady.
It is very sweet to provide many variable openings on the mattress. Then we can find the most optimizing patient positioning which improves access to imaging windows. I believe the ability to obtain diagnostic information is dependent on obtaining suitable imaging windows. So, optimizing patient positioning for exam is valuable.
Besides it’s available to customize the table. I think it’s wonderful to put our idea on the product design. Depending on the different demands of doctors, the table will be satisfied with all of us. Such like we can adjust the size of the table to fit our owned exam room. And we adjust the height of the table which makes operation easier and more comfortable.
It’s more convenient for assistants restrain the patient. Both doctors and assistants are tolerated to long-time exam and the risks of physical injury during exam are minimized.
As it can be folded, there is nothing to worry about storage, especially for the space which is not big enough. We can keep it in the exam room and it won’t occupy too much space. There is still enough space to use as treatment room or consultation room. But there is a small disadvantage. The table weighs 32 pounds, so it is not as easy to carry and setup by self.

I was the cardiology technician for over 5 years here. I know we had that top for a few years before I moved in to Cardiology and I have been out of Cardio for 2 years.
I have to tell you, your table toppers are AMAZING back savers for technicians. We have always had ours on a hydraulic lift table and even though it finally needs to be replaced, we had a Cardiologist who used to see 15-18 patients a day, 4 days a week. (almost 3,000 patients a year for 9-10 years!) So that tells you how incredibly well your tables wear! And honestly, we could have probably just had the vinyl replaced on the top and it would have been fine.
However, we are interviewing new Cardiologists and opted to go with a shiny new table topper!
